I've been
facing a tough blogging decision for a while now; how do I continue
blogging about our family, more specifically ALL 3 of our kids, on a
blog dedicated to Lola and Jackson? Do I simply rename it, leave the
domain the same and move forward. That would certainly be the easiest
and quickest solution.
But unfortunately that
wouldn't take care of another problem I've experienced: blog hackers. I
have been recording way more reader activity than is actually possible
for about a year. It doesn't bother me to the point of losing sleep.
There are no images on my blog that I would consider inappropriate and
there's no content that is so private that I would be devastated to find
out an unknown person in Germany was passing it off as their own. But
it's still kind of uncomfortable since I have no idea what all this
traffic is actually doing with my site. I'm not computer literate enough
to delve deeper into the problem. And honestly I really don't feel like
dealing with it.
So rather than snoop
into the snooping I'm going to kill two birds with one blog, as the
saying goes. So begins "5 Freedmans."
I'm leaving "The
Adventures of Lola and Jackson" up for now. I won't be adding
content but it will be out there in cyberspace until I figure out a way
to move everything over to this blog, and who knows how long that will take.
Also, as you probably already know, I've linked to this blog in the old
one so you all will be able to find me. I know, I know... but then won't
the hackers just follow me over to this blog. I guess that's a risk,
but I have a suspicion that the hackers aren't actually human, but rather
computers using people's domains to do whatever it is that hacking
computers do. Since they don't actually read the blog post, I'm hoping
this will outsmart them, at least for now.
So here we are,
officially moving on from the adventures of our adorable twins to life with 3 little beauties:

That is a great picture. Hopefully I'll get back soon to hug and kiss them all.
